1. What Rookie Adults is
Rookie Adults is an education brand based in India, run by Mayur Mankar. We explain money, career, health and everyday-life basics for young adults in India, in plain language. Everything we publish is general education, written for a broad audience. It is not advice about your personal situation.
2. What our content isn’t
- Not financial, tax or investment advice. We’re not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst. We don’t recommend specific stocks or securities, and nothing we publish is a recommendation to buy or sell any investment.
- Not legal advice. Laws, rules and fees change and can differ by state.
- Not medical advice. Our health content covers general, everyday habits. It isn’t a diagnosis or treatment. If something feels wrong, see a doctor. In an emergency, call 112. For mental-health support, Tele-MANAS (14416) is free and available 24x7.
- Not a substitute for a professional. For decisions about your own money, career, health or legal position, speak to a qualified professional.
We check our facts against official sources and say when an expert has reviewed a piece. Even so, information can become outdated or contain errors. Please confirm important details with the official source before you act. If you spot a mistake, tell us at hello@rookieadults.com and we’ll fix it.
3. Tools and calculators
Our tools give estimates based on the numbers you enter and simplified assumptions. Your actual salary, tax or costs may differ. Use the results as a starting point, not a final answer.
4. The newsletter
The Rookie Report is free and for people aged 18 and over. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your email address.
5. When you write to us
When you reply to the newsletter or send us a question or story, you let us use it to improve our content. We’ll always ask before publishing anything that could identify you. Please don’t send us confidential details about yourself or anyone else.
6. Links, products and sponsorships
We link to other websites, such as official government portals, when they help. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content.
We currently don’t use affiliate links or paid sponsorships. If we ever do, we’ll label them clearly where they appear.
7. Our content
The text, graphics, logo and design of Rookie Adults belong to us or the people who licensed them to us. You’re welcome to share links to our pages and quote short excerpts with credit and a link. Please don’t republish whole articles, or use our content or brand in a way that suggests we endorse you, without written permission.
8. Fair use of the site
Don’t misuse the site. That includes trying to break or overload it, scraping it in bulk, or using it to send spam or anything unlawful.
9. Liability
We provide our content and tools “as is”, in good faith, and for free. To the extent the law allows, Rookie Adults isn’t liable for any loss or damage that results from relying on general information on this site or in our newsletter. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Indian law that can’t be excluded.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
